Designed for rapid stock removal when preparing timber prior to finishing.
The machined frog and cutter seatings eliminate blade chatter. With unbreakable plastic handles and special cap iron design which curves shavings and prevents clogging.
Length 355mm (14"). Cutter width 50mm (2").
Replacement plane blade (also known as an iron) is made from chrome carbon steel which has excellent edge retention characteristics and allows a razor sharp edge to be honed. Blade is fine rotary ground to give a flat surface that is easier to sharpen.
