The Janome 230DC computerised sewing machine has 30 pre-programmed stitches, including 3 styles of automatic 1-step buttonholes. The LCD display makes it easy to see which stitch you have chosen. A jam-proof, magnetic, top loading, full rotary hook system eliminates the need for a removable bobbin case cutting out risk of lost parts! The extra needle penetration power of this model lets you sew across heavier fabrics and be creative with multiple layers. There is also a needle up/down button for selecting whether the needle should stop in the fabric (great for pivoting work without missing a stitch) or in the up position, to avoid needle damage. The extra-wide extension table detaches for free-arm sewing. Also features a 7 piece feed mechanism, a drop feed facility, automatic needle threader, speed control lever for setting the maximum sewing speed and by using the start/stop button you don't have to use the foot control.
