Brother L14S Sewing Machine

The Brother L14 is an economic entry level sewing machine with all of the basic functions needed for simple alterations and repairs. It's lightweight and portable with a strong metal chassis and delivers smooth quiet sewing. Easy to operate, with simple dials, it would be perfect for children to use under supervision.

The helpful instructional DVD provides all of the information you need to get started and the top loading bobbin is easy to thread, plus the bright LED lighting offers great colour accuracy and lasts much longer than a traditional bulb.

This basic model has 14 different stitches: straight stiches of varying lengths and one with the needle positioned to the left for sewing along edges, zigzag stitches, blind hem stitches, satin stitch, an elastic stitch and a 4-step buttonhole. The convertible free arm makes it easy to sew trouser legs and sleeve cuffs.
